Utilize good judgment. Try not to keep combustible materials on or close to your oven within the tent. It's smart to have a fire douser nearby for good measure. Fires aren't the most predicable things on the planet and no one can tell when things won't go right.

•     Arrange your tent so the oven jack is on the downwind side. You don't need the breeze blowing flashes and coals back onto your Chamonix Canvas Tent .
